The purpose of our website is to inform public opinion on the structure, objectives and work program of our Association, to popularize the advantages and particularities of river transport in Romania and not ultimately to create a framework for discussions, both for members of the Association, as well as for the public, on various aspects of river transport.
The Association of Shipowners and Port - River Operators from Romania operates as a public utility association based on GD no. 356/2001. The association has Romanian nationality, is apolitical, non-governmental and carries out its activity in accordance with Romanian laws and the present statute.
The Shipowners' Association and AAOPFR's general goal is to develop a strong national community of river carriers and river port operators, to represent the interests of this sector of activity in a professional and professional manner, both nationally and internationally.
